Today we’d like to introduce you to Dapo Dina.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started out as a little kid from a music family of five where everyone sang and play one instrument and my dad took me and my brother for piano lessons.

From there my piano instructor advised me to go and study music full time but I wanted to be a businessman and then we relocated to South Africa and there was more culture of jazz music and their music found me.

I was exposed to a lot of international records and decided to become a musician and after a while playing some classical and some straight-ahead jazz, I decided to create my own music which I have defined as Yoruba jazz which is a fusion of my Nigerian traditional cultural music and jazz and because of the uniqueness of the sound that I portray have been able to move around Europe Africa till I got to the states and the journey continues.
