Patrick Galen Dempsey (born January 13, 1966)[1] is an American actor and racing driver.
He is best known for his role as neurosurgeonDr. Derek "McDreamy" Shepherd in the ABC medical drama series Grey's Anatomy (2005-15; 2020-21).
